Bralirwa counter gains Rwf7

The Rwanda Stock Exchange total turnover fell by Rwf135.9m during the week to Rwf4.9m yesterday from Rwf140.8m recorded the previous Monday. Bank of Kigali traded 500 shares yesterday worth Rwf153,500, down from 455,300 shares worth Rwf140.2m last Monday.

The Rwanda Stock Exchange total turnover fell by Rwf135.9m during the week to Rwf4.9m yesterday from Rwf140.8m recorded the previous Monday. Bank of Kigali traded 500 shares yesterday worth Rwf153,500, down from 455,300 shares worth Rwf140.2m last Monday.

The Bralirwa counter registered an increase in volumes traded during the week, with 10,500 shares worth Rwf4.7m exchanging hands compared to 1,200 shares worth Rwf528,000 traded last week.

The counter traded at between Rwf447 and Rwf450, closing at Rwf447 yesterday. This was an increase of Rwf7 compared to last Monday’s closing price of Rwf440. The appreciation of the brewer’s share price boosted the Rwanda Stock Exchange Share Index, which inched up to 264.13 points yesterday from 261.54 points the previous Monday.

Bank of Kigali shares traded and closed at Rwf307, a Rwf1 drop compared to last Monday’s closing price of Rwf308.

Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB), Nation Media Group and Uchumi Supermarkets shares last transacted at Rwf185, Rwf1,200 and Rwf175, respectively.

At the end of formal trading hours yesterday, there were outstanding offers of 95,700 Bank of Kigali shares at between Rwf307and Rwf320. 

The Bralirwa counter had outstanding bids of 33,000 shares at between Rwf445 and Rwf446. 

KCB had outstanding bids of 5,100 shares at between Rwf175 and Rwf180 and the Uchumi counter had an outstanding offer of 7,200 shares at Rwf175.
