The 2013 league champions, Rayon Sports want the cup much more than their rivals, who have already won the league title.
The Blues booked their place in quarter finals after beating holders AS Kigali Football Club 3-2 on Thursday at Kigali Regional Stadium.
Ahead of the biggest game of the competition, Rayon Sports interim coach Thierry Hitimana said they will give everything to win the game.
"We did our best to win the previous round against AS Kigali, but have not reached our target yet, our aim is to win the tournament because it is our only opportunity to win a trophy this season,” Hitimana told Sunday Sport.
APR FC, winners of the Peace cup a record seven times reached the last eight after eliminating relegated AS Muhanga 10-9 on spot-kicks after normal time had ended 0-0.
Today’s other quarter-final clash sees Kiyovu SC, without a head coach following the resignation of Gilbert Kanyankore on Friday, take on Espoir FC at Stade de Muhanga in Muhanga district.
In the first quarter-final, second division side SEC Academy thumped Amagaju FC 4-0 on Friday, while Police FC and Musanze met on Saturday.
