Rwanda women will play two international friendly games against Burundi before they welcome Ghana to the Kigali Pele Stadium on Wednesday, September 20, in a 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifier.
Head coach Grace Nyinawumuntu will use the two friendlies to assess her 23-woman squad as well as identify areas to improve her team ahead of Ghana test.

The two East African neigbours will play the first friendly match on Friday, September 15, at Bugesera Stadium before shifting to Kigali Pele Stadium for the second match on Saturday, September 16 at 7pm.

Rwanda women’s team is already in camp preparing for the two-legged qualifier against Ghana from which the winner will lock horns with either Gambia or Namibia in the second round of the qualifiers.
