National rugby team captain Vincent Kamali has called on his team mates to put their bodies on the line as the team looks to beat DR Congo in the last game of the ongoing CAR Div. 2 qualifiers today.

Hosts Rwanda kicked off the three-nation tournament with a 15-6 win against Burundi on Tuesday, while Congo, who arrived in the country on Wednesday, also beat Burundi 22-12 on Thursday.

Rwanda’s captain Kamali said that the win against Burundi was very important and set them up nicely for what he expects to be an even tougher clash against the Congolese.

He said, "I am happy and all the guys in the group are happy for this win. I didn’t expect to see so many supporters at the ground, but I was mesmerized by the big number that showed up at Amahoro stadium. I call on them to out in even larger number to support us on Saturday.”

However, Kamali warned his team mates to expect Congo to be tougher opponents as opposed to what they faced in the opener.

Today’s game is so decisive that neither team will want to settle for nothing less than a win. The winner will qualify for the Division 3.
