PEACE CUP holders AS Kigali will take on Rayon Sports in the 1/8 round today at Kicukiro ground.

The winner in today’s game will meet APR FC in the quarterfinals on Sunday.

The game was initially supposed to be played in March but it was postponed to allow AS Kigali compete in the Caf Confederation Cup.

The Nyanza-based Rayon Sports interim coach Billy Mbusa Kombi believes his team has the right ingredients to see off the stubborn Andre Casa Mbungo’s AS Kigali.

"It is a knockout game. We have to give our best and we want to play in the quarter-finals against APR,” the former Rayon Sports’ striker Mbusa Kombi told Times Sport on Tuesday.

However, AS Kigali’s Mbungo is looking forward to maintain his impressive run in the competition.

"We had good training; all the players are in good shape and we will do everything possible to win the game,” Mbungo said.
