TODAY Groupe Scolaire Mwendo host Gorillas in the women  handball league in Busegera District in the Eastern Province.

The game was supposed to be played two weeks ago, but it was postponed because of inter-schools competitions where most of student dominated G.S Mwendo players were taking part.

"Last year, we finished in the third position, but our target this

season is to be champions,” said G.S Mwendo coach Ngirimana Jean Pierre, whose team is third in the four-team league table. Defending champions, Ecole Scolaire Mukingi lead the table with nine points, two ahead of Gorillas in second place from three games. G.S

Mwendo have six points but having played a game less, while UR-CoE sit bottom of the table with three points from three games.
