Ladies will judge you not so much by what you say but by what you wear on your feet. You may not be so smooth with them but shoes go a long way to give the impression that you are the ideal guy.

Whatever their obsession is with shoes, you have no option but to try as much as possible to fit the bill.

To begin with, there is not one shoe that can go with all outfits or for all occasions, in the shoe kingdom; every kind has its occasion. There is a need to have at least four different shoe types to ensure that your outfit is not out of place.

Below are shoe types you should have in your closet;

Polish-able leather shoes

Leather shoes, whether black or brown are a must have in a closet. You may not have a nine to five job that requires you to suit up but there are occasions which may require you to at least wear dress pants, say if your friend is getting married. If you are required to show up to work formally dressed, several pairs of polish-able leather shoes are in order.

Open shoes

Weekends were created for us to laze around and breathe, your feet are no exception, and they require at least a day when they are not getting suffocated in tightly laced boots. If you have feet that are not easy on the eye, you should go for open shoes that make an attempt to conceal your toes. Others might prefer more open ones that resemble bathroom slippers.

However, no man should in this day and age be spotted in Gladiator sandals; those were only allowed during Biblical times.

Sneakers

You do not want to be the guy who wears polish-able leather shoes under baggy jeans on weekends when you are on a work retreat. At least a pair of sneakers is ideal when you want to go out for a walk or are taking it easy on a night out. Depending on your age, you have a choice between basket ball sneakers and simple sneakers.

Rubber shoes

These are ideal for comfort and go well with denim or chinos. Rubber shoes are a reminder that at times the simplest things are the most comfortable. They can be worn to work on a dress-down Friday or on a Monday morning if you are feeling rebellious.
