UGANDA’S LEADING drama group the Ebonies are already in Kigali for their show Imbaraga zu rukundo, set for this weekend.

At a meet and greet party, the Ebonies interacted with their Rwandan audience to get them acquainted with their work.

Sam Bagenda, one of the group’s directors, told the press that his 85-man team was set to thrill Rwandans, giving them a sneak peak of what will transpire in the show.

They performed some of their original compositions entitled "The sun of Africa” blended with Kinyarwanda traditional dance. It is no doubt that those that will attend will not be bored as they have tailored the show to relate with Rwandans.

"We are starting on our world tour here in Rwanda with a special show called Imbaraga zu rukundo which we created especially for the Rwandan audience. I want to assure our fans that our show is going to be three times better than the last one we had here. Come and see what we have in store for you,” said Bagenda.

He said the reason for making Imbaraga zurukundo is for Rwandans to feel like the show is theirs.

The Ebonies will perform with the Goodlyf Crew who arrive in the country today.

The event will start at 5:00pm at Kigali Serena Hotel and at the Expo Ground Gikondo, same time, on Sunday. Entrance fee will be Rwf 15000 at Serena and Rwf 5000 at Gikondo. Tickets are being sold at the Serena Hotel and Nakumatt supermarket. There will be an after party with the fans at Fantastic Restaurant.
