Ten distributors of Bralirwa products will now do their work efficiently and profitably, thanks to a donation of motorcycles worth Rwf25m from the brewer.

Daaf Val Tilburg, the Bralirwa sales director, said while handing over the bikes at the firm’s offices in Gikondo, Kigali that the donation aimed at easing service delivery and creating partnerships with local suppliers.

The 10 beneficiaries include Kamo and Sons, DVB, Munga, Furaha, Mukarusagara, Soveproa and SRDS Distributors.

Kamo and Sons’ Faustin Kashugana said the motorcycles will enable him increase sales.

"I have been delivering 72,600 crates monthly, but with this motorcycle I am targeting 76,000 crates,” added Kashugana.

Emmanuel Musindisi, the DVB owner, said some areas have been inaccessible, noting that the motorcycles "will provide a good supply link”.

Jean-Rémy Abera, the regional sales manager, said the bikes have capacity to carry up to 30 crates, and are efficient on fuel consumption.

Bralirwa makes Primus, Mützig, Amstel, Turbo King beers and soft drinks, including Coca-Cola and Fanta.
