Radio and Weasle will perform at the highly anticipated Ebonies’ show "Imbaraga z’Rukundo” slated for this weekend in Kigali despite rumours which have been circulating that the two would not make it to Kigali following the arrest of Radio in Kampala.
Yesterday, media reports had indicated that Radio was arrested in Kampala, sparking speculation among fans that the duo would miss the Ebonies show. According to the Managing Director of Ebonies, Sam Bagenda popularly known as Dr. Bbosa, the issue was resolved and the duo will perform in Kigali.
"It was a small matter that involved only Radio. Weasel was not involved. However, it was settled and they will be joining us on Friday,” said Dr. Bbosa who is already in Kigali ahead of the show.
Bossa said that Radio tried to defend himself after being provoked and attacked by another musician called Pallaso and their former manager Jeff Kiwanuka.
According to sources, all this comes after Radio and Weasel quit Goodlyfe before firing their manager Jeff Kiwanuka.
Radio accused Kiwanuka of trying to separate him from his singing partner Weasel.
"Most of the performers are already in Kigali. Radio and Weasel couldn’t come early because they have two concerts on Wednesday and Thursday. People should expect a superb show and they will not regret it,” added Dr. Bbosa.
