Speaking with The New Times, the comedian shared that when he decided to step into the scene of comedy and acting it came naturally to him.
"I grew up watching various local actors but none of them really inspired me in a way that I could point to a specific person and say that is who I want to be like.
However, I had this habit of observing people and copying things from different actors, but having a role model, No, that was not my thing,” he said.
He added: "I was worried that if I try to be like someone else, I might end up failing miserably at it or not acting perfectly. So, it was just me, doing my thing with determination to set an example for others.”

Dr Nsabi mostly acts in ‘Ikirera’, a language spoken by people from the north. His turning point was a video clip he made during the COVID-19 lockdown. In the video, he acted alongside the girl who had come to visit him but then said she was already married and did not want to leave. He pretended to seek help from neighbors, saying he was not ready to get married and it was too soon for that.
Like any other rising stars, his path to limelight also was not without challenges.
"A number of young people normally face a tough time from society and families as they often tell them what they should do with their lives, which is a big challenge to men. They should let them follow their dreams instead of dictating them to certain roles or jobs.”
However, he also owes his success to his teammates the ‘Ikerekezo Group’ who supported him during tough times when he was still trying to make it.
Dr Nsabi strongly recommends Rwandans to support local contents as it boosts their contents far beyond the boundaries.
Now, the comedian is active on YouTube, acting in a series called ‘Kwivuko’ and creating other comedy videos with his fellow comedians as well as actors and actresses.
The comedian attended Bwuzuri primary for his primary education, Karinzi secondary school for his ordinary level and then attended Muhoza 1 high school for more advanced classes. In high school he did Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology (MCB).
