Mucyo said the preliminary competitions will be held in four districts and the City of Kigali before the winners compete in the finals at Amahoro Indoor Stadium.

He said the tournament dubbed ‘Never Again’, will be held in the four districts of Musanze, Gasabo, Muhanga and Kayonza. The tournament will kick off on June 7 in Musanze and Kayonza. On the second day, June 8, teams from the Provinces will meet in Muhanga for another competition, while Kigali teams will meet at Kimisagara youth sports centre and the finals will be held in Kigali on June, 14 at Amahoro Indoor Stadium.
This is the fourth time the Kungfu ‘Never Again’ tourney is being held.
Havugimana said they had dispatched officials to traverse the country to see if they can find details about Kungfu players, officials or fans, who were killed during the 1994 Genocide against Tutsi.
The teams expected in the event include; Kimisagara Hung-Li Club, Mask de la Paux, Issa Club, Taich Club, Musanze Shaolin, Rubavu Shaolin Temple, Muhanga Kung-fu Club, National University of Rwanda Kung-fu Club, Wush Kungfu Club and Nyanza Shaolin Temple.
