Dear editor,

One might wonder why some people reach 40 when they are still single. I dug up for the truth, and discovered that the major obstacle is FINANCIAL difficulties.

As you might be aware, prices of everything is skyrocketing when income is not.

In Kigali or elsewhere you will find three or more people living under the same roof so that they can barely raise rent.

One cannot therefore think of marriage when even paying landlord, is a problem. It is against this background that I do not see myself for example getting married in the near future.

Marriage is now days very related to someone’s financial status and I do not see why young men tend to pretend. Say you do not have money and that is all.

The pretenders claim that they are still searching. Searching what? Probably money and not a woman to marry.
