Refer to the article, "A shift to manufacturing is practicable” (Sunday Times, May 11). When we say we want the media to play an informative and educational role, this is what we mean: a well written and obviously insightful article that addresses key national policy issues and loopholes.

We need The New Times, as a national newspaper, to do more of this kind of articles—those articles can play an additional role to the Parliament's oversight role.

I also entirely agree that agriculture needs to co-live with other sectors for factors you have ably explained in this article. Regarding job creation, we indeed need a better evaluation tool for jobs created per sector.
