This is with reference to the story, "New railway project to turn EAC economic fortunes” (The New Times, May 12). What an exciting moment and a true partnership based on mutual interests! Gone are the days when people just looked at short-term relationships; this is a mega project that will propel the EAC to a great future.

The impact of the project will never be compared to any in history, leave alone what we expect to yield from it in terms of business investments.

Long live EAC, long live our Presidents.
