APR MEN’S VOLLEYBALL club head coach Sammy Mutemi Mulinge is hopeful that his side will clinch this season’s league title.

"We are determined to get maximum points in all our remaining matches so as to lift the title. The task is huge and difficult but we are ready to continue fighting until the end. We have tough opponents but also my team has the potential to wrestle them to retain our top spot.” said Mulinge.

Mulinge, whose side narrowly missed out on last year’s title, lead the standings with 30 points in ten matches played this season. Inatek are placed second with 24 points.

APR host St. Joseph and Intatek before proceeding to the playoffs round. In other matches, third-placed Kigali Volleyball Club play Rusumo High School, Christ Roi and UR-Huye.

Ngororero will battle PSVF and Kirehe; Rayon Sport will be up against Umubano Blue Tigers and GSOB, while College of Education will meet with Lycee de Nyanza.
