Editor,

Refer to the Letter to the Editor, "Yes, Rwandan students abroad are a major resource” (The New Times, May 2). I wholeheartedly agree with this stroke of genius idea!

Fighting isolation means a fresh breath of life to a culture that can only expand through an effective communication. Collaborative and complementing great minds can only move forward faster for the greater common good if flow of ideas is freely able to reach interested party without impediment.

It eliminates a waste of time and reinventing the wheels thus encouraging individuals to reach for different new goals while advancing exponentially the whole group. Rwanda can only win the war of poverty if it can maximise the brains of its people who are in different parts around the world.

The key is how to effectively create that network that can reach us all. Cheers to you, Yves Sabato, and all the good hearts giving back.
