The FIFA media relations manager Mrs. Segolene Valentin made the remarks at the launch of Cecafa communications seminar in Dar es Salaam on May 1 as she praised Somali Football Federation for successfully accomplishing all media communications-related developments.
She termed Somalia as a ‘communications role model’ adding that Somali Football Federation’s Media department was praiseworthy for making such tangible progress.
FIFA media relations manager Mrs. Segolene Valentin called on other Cecafa member associations to follow such good examples.
"Applaud for Somalia for the huge move forward,” she said at a seminar which gathered presidents, secretary generals and media officers from member associations of the Council of Eastern and Central Africa Football Associations (Cecafa).

The Cecafa secretary General Nicholas Musonye said the regional football governing body was very grateful to Fifa for making efforts to make sure that the region benefits from such very important seminar.
