REFER TO the story, "First Lady: We have to keep up fight for women’s rights” (The New Times, April 29).

 I congratulate the First Lady, Mrs. Jeannette Kagame, for an excellent speech; the Minister for Gender and Family Promotion for a significant input; and Prof. Sandra, from the University of Oxford, for bringing such an important conference to Rwanda. This is a great collaborative effort with the University of Rwanda and the University of Cape Town.
