APR handball club head coach Vianney Munyangando has called upon his players to put in extra effort if they are to win the Sunday league game against rivals Police.

APR sit in the third position with eight points after winning their last match 25-20 against Nyakabanda. They are one point behind leaders E.S Kigoma and two points ahead of fourth-placed Police, who beat KIE last weekend. "I was very pleased with my team’s performance against Nyakabanda last weekend, but we need to continue working very hard if we are to win against Police,” said Munyangando.

He added, "Sunday’s game is going to be the biggest test so far this season because we are playing a very experienced side with every good pedigree in the league. We therefore need to be at our very best, which means the players must put extra effort.”
