Fourteen people sustained serious injuries yesterday after a minibus they were travelling in had a head-on collision on Kabuga-Kigali highway.

According to Superintendent Jean Marie Ndushabandi, the spokesperson of the Traffic and Road Safety department, the accident occured at 1:30pm, after a speeding minibus heading to Kigali  lost control and rammed into a trailer that was headed for Kabuga, before the former over-turned.

"All the injured were rushed to Rwanda Military and Masaka hospitals where they are admitted,” Ndushabandi said.
