Editor,

On behalf of Norwegians, I want to thank The New Times for allowing us to follow what’s happening in Rwanda and how the country is aggressively pushing to reach her goals of Vision 2020.

I am one of the people who have loyally followed Rwanda and The New Times for a while now, and I am thrilled and amazed by the optimism and all the smiles, and the entrepreneurship around. No one would ever believe how Rwanda resurrected after the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. This miraculous renaissance is what makes everyone firmly believe that Rwanda will definitely realise its developmental goals.

In other words, Rwanda is a miracle and a role model for unity and reconciliation. Spearheaded by their charismatic and visionary President, the people of Rwanda have shown deep resilience and commitment to rebuild their country from scratch.

It’s on the same note that I hope to see a very close and friendly relationship between our two countries – Rwanda and Norway. We have so many things that we could mutually benefit from each other.

God bless Rwanda.
