Rafiki, Tom Close steal show

The self-styled popular artist Rafiki of cyoga style set the audience on ‘fire’ last weekend when Kunda Umuziki Nyarwanda forum was launched at ‘Petit Stade’ last weekend.

Another artist who thrilled the music fans was the up coming, RnB star Tom Close. He performed immediately after Miss JOJO.

Hip Hop styles typical of the black Americans and Rwandans wondered if they were real, listening to Kinyarwanda tunes characterized the show. The hall was indeed full to capacity.

When the minute hand, clocked 9:00 pm the comic master of ceremony MC Tino, announced the next artist as Rafiki, who was given a thunderous welcome.

As the fire flames flashed frequently, on the stage, Rafiki started with Cyambeshye Urukundo (She denied me love) song which made the audience crazy.

Rafiki sang other two of his popular songs like Igikosi Kosi (Cup) as he jumped off the podium going to the audience and almost everyone wanted to dance with him the cyoga style.

He almost lost the track while many young men struggled to stretch their hands to touch him and volunteering bouncers came to his rescue back to the podium.

He finished and sang his dual song with Miss JOJO. Later MC Tino called Tom Close who sang his popular song Kuki.

Both Rafiki and Tom Close did what ever they wanted to the public, they had command to the fans, telling them to lift their hands, singing with them and dancing among other exciting actions.

The concert started at 3:00pm until dawn. The same kind of concert will be extended to other provinces in the country.
