RWANDA YOUTH girls’ national volleyball team has started preparations ahead of the second African Youth Games slated for Gaborone from May 22-31.
The 19-players team reported for the first week of training on Friday in Huye district in the Southern Province. They will be released after one week and will again resume training on April, 24.
According to head coach Paul Bitok, the team needs to start early preparations if they are to be the best in the tournament.
Players in camp:
Denisle Muhimpundu, Nassia Uwamahoro, Oliver Mutamba, Delphine Uwicyeza, Lea Uwimbabazi, Pascaline Mukashyaka, Pacifique Umulisa, Rollete Higito, Selaphine Mukantambara, Ortance Nzaninka, Deborah Mpamyimana, Marie Grace Niyigena, Benita Mukandayisenga.
Others are; Alphonsine Uwumukiza, Laurence Ingabire, Hope Musaniwabo, Grace Umutesi, Valentine Umunezero and Rollete Uwase Umubyeyi.
