Residents of Amizero village, Muhima Sector, Nyarugenge District  yesterday woke up  to terrifying sights, after a body of  anunidentified  man was found stuffed under a water culvert.

Beatrice Uwabaye, a resident of the area, said the victim, yet to be identified, was a porter and resident of Kamutwa Cell, Kacyiru Sector, Gasabo District.

"The victim could have been strangled and dumped there the previous night, going by the fresh traces of  blood on the body,” Uwabaye said.

Senior Supt. Urbain Mwiseneza, the Police spokesperson   for Kigali, said the body had been taken to Kacyiru Police Hospital mortuary for a post-mortem.

"Investigations are ongoing to find out his exact identity, and who could have been behind his demise,” he noted.
