CERCLE SPORTIF de Kigali (CSK) head coach, Janvier Kamanzi has rallied his players to stay focused as the race for the basketball league title hots up.

The 2011 champions are having a good run in this championship after signing the Buzangu brothers, Mike and Patrick- the driving force at the Rugunga-based team.

Last weekend, Mike Buzangu scored 86 points in two games, 24 against APR and 62 against University of Rwanda College of Education respectively.

CSK, who host IPIRC- Kicukiro this morning at Kigali Sports Center in Rugunga, were scheduled to face-off last year’s first runners-up KBC last evening.

"The season is reaching a key stage where teams are fighting hard for places in the play offs, so we have to keep on our toes and make sure we don’t commit too many mistakes,” Kamanzi told this paper on Friday.

He added, "Of cause the arrival of Mike and Patrick has changed the whole environment around team, everyone feels unbeatable, which can only be good for the team.”

Elsewhere this weekend, Gisenyi host University of Rwanda College of Education and IPRC-Kicukiro tomorrow respectively, while Rusizi face University of Rwanda College of Arts and Social Sciences.
