In the song dubbed, Ndaje Rwanda, the young songstress urges Rwandans to show solidarity with the survivors and unite to ensure that genocide never happens again in the country.
"There are still so many broken hearts out there which need to be comforted as Rwanda tries to get rid of the consequences of the Genocide,” Teta said.
The Fata Fata singer pointed out the need to sustain Rwanda’s resilience and courage as the country pays homage to the over a million of its people who died in the 100 day killing spree.
"That’s exactly what inspired me to work on this song” she noted.
Teta, a contestant in this year’s Primus Guma Guma Superstar, will unveil her song at Amahoro Stadium on April 7, the same day Rwandans will mark the 20th anniversay of the Genocide against the Tutsi.
