"I am now looking forward to my new work as the Technical Director of Sofapaka. Hope to be productive and of an added value to this club,” said Mbonabucya, who is also a Fifa -licensed agent based in Brussels.
The former Rwandan playmaker will be charged with recruiting players for the club as well as marketing and securing professional clubs in Europe for their top players. The former Rayon Sports striker confirmed he will start his new job effective May 1. Mbonabucya skippered Rwanda national team to its debut appearance at the Africa Nations Cup finals – in 2004 in Tunisia.
