AS KIGALI striker Bodo Ndikumana will miss the rest of the season as he recovers from injuries sustained two weeks ago in a motor cycle accident. Ndikumana, is slowly recovering at CHUK hospital where he is admitted.

The 25-year-old forward sustained head injuries which will rule him out of active play this season, according to the AS Kigali president Felix Masengesho.

"The injuries were not as bad as we first feared. However, he is still in hospital but making good recovery, unfortunately, we will not see him playing again this season,” Masengesho said.

AS Kigali arrived in Morocco on Wednesday to defend their slender 1-0 advantage in second leg match of the 1/8th round of Caf Confederation Cup against Difaâ El Jadida, this weekend in Casablanca.

Ndikumana scored AS Kigali’s first goal in this year’s competition when he netted the winner in the 1-0 home victory against Burundian side Academie Tchite in the first leg of the preliminary round in early February.
