RWANDA must win one of their two matches scheduled for today in the ongoing ICC Africa Division 3 tournament in South Africa to qualify for Division 2.

Coach Ed Pearson’s team, who lead the four-national tournament standings after three matches, takes on Sierra Leone in the morning and Swaziland later in the afternoon.

Rwanda won two matches against Gambia and Swaziland before losing to Sierra Leone on Saturday and Sunday respectively.

A win in one of today’s two games will see them claim the only slot to Division 2, a feat the Rwanda Cricket Association are eyeing as it brings in more financial help from the international cricket body - ICC.

Rwanda is tied with Sierra Leone with six points but the former have a better run rate. Swaziland is third with four points, while Gambia lie bottom without a point.
