March 27 Rwanda vs Burundi

Rwanda U-20 team will face Burundi in warm-up match on March 27 in Kigali as part of their preparations for the 2015 Africa Youth Championships qualifiers.

Richard Tardy’s junior wasps will meet South Sudan in the qualifying first round of the road to 2015 Senegal AYC finals.

Rwanda will travel to Juba for the first leg on the weekend of April 4-6 before hosting the return leg in Kigali on the weekend of April 25-27. 

According to head coach Tardy, the players have responded well during the one-week training camp and had returned to their respective teams for the league and Peace Cup games.

The Frenchman said "We have given the players permission to rejoin their club but they will return for camp before the warm-up game against Burundi and I hope they will come back stronger.”

"We needed that game (against Burundi) and we believe it will help us to prepare well for the qualifiers,” he added.

Rwanda will be looking to be among the seven qualifiers to join hosts Senegal for the finals of the tournament set for March 8-22.
