APR, Rayon Sports and KVC will face off today at Rafiki court in Nyamirambo on the third day of the season. The three are seen as favourites to win this year’s volleyball league title for men.

The trio’s meeting in Group Two will go a long way to show fans, which team is likely to win the league title even though it is still a long way for the season, which is scheduled to end in May.

The first game will be between KVC against APR and the second will be APR against newcomers Rayon Sports before the Blues wind up against KVC. The three teams have won all their first four league matches and lead with 12 points.

In Group One, which will be played at Rusumo High School, the battle will be between the hosts, Petit Seminaire Virgo Fideris Karubanda and defending champions, UR-Huye.

INATEK, Ngororero and Christ Roi will be playing at Ngoma court in Group Four matches, and in Group Five, it will be hosts Kirehe against St Joseph and Lycee de Nyanza, while in Group Six, College of Education will host Umubano Blue Tigers and Group Scolaire Officielle de Butare.

In the women category, in Group One; champions APR and UR-Huye will visit Lycee de Nyanza, in the second group; Ngororero hosts Ruhango Volleyball Club and St Alloys, while in Group Three, Rwanda Revenue Authority will be up against IPRC and St Joseph at Ecole Belge.
