Muhanga Rugby Football Club, in conjunction with the Rwanda Rugby Federation (RRF), is set to organise the first sevens tournament of the season today.

The one-day competition, which is sponsored by Skol beer, is the opening tournament on the 2014 rugby calendar and it will bring together six league sides and one guest side from Burundi.

The local teams include; defending champions Lions de Fer, Remera Buffaloes, Sharks, Grizzlies, Kamonyi and tournament hosts, Muhanga. Burundian will be represented by Kayanza rugby club.
