Five win in MTN mobile money promo

Five MTN subscribers on Thursday walked away with cash prizes worth Rwf1m as the telecom firm concluded its ‘Yatsindireee!’ mobile money promotion.

Five MTN subscribers on Thursday walked away with cash prizes worth Rwf1m as the telecom firm concluded its ‘Yatsindireee!’ mobile money promotion.

David Ntegerijimana was the biggest winner of the day, walking home with Rwf500,000, while Felix Ndayishimiye, Daphrose Livugabaramye, Jean Nepomuscene Nikorutuye, Wilson Gato and Evalde Nzayizera pocketed Rwf100,000 each. While speaking at the prize-giving event at the MTN Service Centre in Kimironko, Norman Munyampundu, the MTN Business general manager, said the promo was aimed at encouraging subscribers to use mobile money services, arguing that they are time-saving and efficient.

A total of 47 subscribers won cash prizes worth Rwf5.5m during  the promo.
