The donation was made by Rotary International through Rotary Club of Ybor City in Tampa, Florida and Rotary Club of Kigali-Virunga

During the hand over ceremony at the school last week, Rwanda country director of Akilah Aline Kabanda said the support will go a long way in improving the quality of the learners.

"Our goal is to have  technology widely used in our classroom, and our students exposed as much as possible. Our students also use the computer lab for their research, assignments and projects,” Kabanda noted.

Rwanda is home to five Rotary Clubs, of which Rotary Club Kigali-Virunga is the only English speaking one. It boasts of among other things setting up the Kigali Public Library.
