Rwandan goalkeeper Maxime Kali Wenssens has joined Belgian Jupiler Pro League side Union Saint Gilloise as a free agent.
Wenssens, 21, has been without a club for a year since he parted ways with KV Mechelen in the Summer of 2022.
The shot stopper signed a one-year contract with Gilloise with an option for extension at the end of the season.

The agile goalkeeper was born in Belgium to a Belgian father and a Rwandan mother but he is yet to play international football for either of the two countries.
After a scouting done by Times Sport, former Amavubi coach Carlos Alos Ferrer approached the player in an attempt to interest him in representing Rwanda for where the coach had a warm reception.
The goalkeeper, however, could not honour his invitation as he was yet to take a decision on his international future.
Wenssens previously played for the youth team of Sint-Truidense.
