Dear editor,
I am worried – and – doubt whether pertinent authorities have cared to look into the E-waste predicament that looms in the horizon.
Surely, by now, everyone aught to know the dangers of toxic computer waste!
This has been considered an "unfortunate by-product of today’s fast-moving digital age,” especially since it as been revealed that most electronic waste often ends up in developing world ‘dumping sites.’
Even though they seem harmless, old computers and most other old electronic equipment contain deadly poison – a toxic mixture of substances including lead, mercury and arsenic.
