The popular band Magic System entertained an enthusiastic crowd this weekend during the after party at B-Club VIP. The audience composed of business elites and others partied till the wee hours of the evening.
The group of multilingual musicians from Ivory Coast, who were recently in the country for the Pan-African Dance Festival (FESPAD), gave the local entertainment industry a new face with their performance.
The upscale hangout which opened last year is located in Nyarutarama and was filled to capacity this weekend.
The high spirited club-goers streamed into the place from all directions and by 11 pm, the parking lot outside the club was full.
"I must admit that I really enjoyed my evening at B-Club and that I had never attended to such a lively after party before,” says Bebe Umulisa, 26, who was at the party.
The stage setting was top-notch and the sound system was sophisticated with DJ Focus in charge of the music.
"I think DJ Focus has got a sense of good music. No wonder he selects the best music which suits all people,” says Jackson Kalisa, a student at the National University of Rwanda.
Samia, the fiancé of the proprietor of B-Club Barry Ndengeyingoma, told The New Times that they are actually interested in inviting more international artists to the after party at B-Club to discover Kigali’s nightlife and to improve their trendy club.
