RRA, RSSB get new bosses

Richard Tushabe and Daniel Ufitikirezi have been appointed as heads of Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) and Rwanda Social Security Board (RSSB), respectively.

The new appointments were announced after a cabinet meeting held at Village Urugwiro yesterday.

Tushabe, who replaces Ben Kagarama at the tax body, has been RRA’s Deputy Commissioner General, while Ufitikirezi takes over from Angélique Kantengwa who headed Rwanda Development Board’s privatisation unit before moving to RSSB.

The Cabinet meeting also appointed Lt. Gen. Charles Kayonga as Rwanda’s ambassador to China, replacing François-Xavier Ngarambe who is now Rwanda’s ambassador to Switzerland. Amandin Rugira was appointed Rwanda’s new ambassador to Burundi.

Caritas Mukandasira has been appointed the governor of the Western Province, replacing Célestin Kabahizi.

Cabinet also appointed Tony Nsanganira as the new Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Agriculture. He replaces Ernest Ruzindaza.
