Many years ago, there was a man called Peter. He was a very rich man who owned a lot of land. Peter had three thousand sheep and one thousand goats. He also had lots of other things.

Unfortunately, Peter was a very selfish man. He did not want to share what he had with anybody.

If anybody came to him to ask for anything, he would just send him away without any help.

"Go away,” he would shout. "I am not going to give you anything.”

But not everyone was like him.
Angel, Peter’s wife, was a very generous woman. She was also a very wise and intelligent. Whenever Angel saw somebody in need, her heart would be filled with pity.

She was always ready with a helping hand. Angel was kind and compassionate. Those who came to her for help always received food or money.

In turn, kind and generous Angel was loved by everyone whereas Peter did not have any friends.

It is hence better to be generous and helpful to others.
