Editor, I have the impression that after the Burundian student case nothing has changed, not even a little, and now it is about time that we did something about this situation.
Editor,
I WISH to react to the story "Rwandan student murdered in India” that was published in The New Times, February 18.
I have the impression that after the Burundian student case nothing has changed, not even a little, and now it is about time that we did something about this situation.
Those responsible should be prosecuted not by the Indian justice system because we all know what the outcome is going to be, but either the international justice system for crime against humanity, racism and murder, all at once or by another country that the concerned countries would agree upon.
The international community, rights bodies, Rwandans and friends of Rwanda should, in their respective capacities, bring this issue to the attention of the Indian officials, including their different consulates in different countries.
It is ridiculous!
