Speaking at the function last week, Ilwon Seo, the Good Neighbours country director, hailed the good co-operation between his organisation and the government of Rwanda.
"The existing partnership has made the extension and refurbishment of this school’s buildings possible,” Seo said.
Kamonyi district mayor Jacques Rutsinga thanked the organisation and the South-Korean Government for the support, noting that it was an important contribution to promoting education and ensuring that students have a chance to train in favourable environment.
With support of about Rwf129m from South Korean NGO Good Neighbours, the school set up five new classrooms, a library, an office, dining hall, kitchen and 24 toilets for students. Another 12 classrooms were renovated and water tanks also installed.
