THE CONFEDERATION of African Football [Caf] has assigned Tanzanian referees to handle the preliminary round return leg Champions League between Rayon Sports and AC Léopards de Dolisie set for Saturday at Amahoro stadium.

The first leg in Congo Brazzaville last Sunday ended in a goalless draw.

Israel Mujuni will be the centre referee and will be assisted by Josephats Deu Bulali as the first assistant ref, Samuel Hudson Mpenzu as the second assistant ref, while Ramadhan Kibo Ibada is the fourth official. Burundian Jean Marie Vianney is the match commissioner.

Kenyans to handle AS Kigali, Tchite tie

The Kenyan quartet of Anthony Ongwao, Tony Kidiya, Peter Kiereini, and Israel Mpaima will handle the return leg tie between Burundian Academie Tchite against Rwanda’s AS Kigali due on Saturday at Stade Prince Louis Rwagasore.

AS Kigali have the advantage, going into the return leg with a slim 1-0 goal aggregate.

Rwandans set for SCVU, Don Bosco clash

Centre referee Louis Hakizimana, first assistant ref Theogene Ndagijimana, second assistant ref Ambroise Hakizimana and fourth official Issa Kagabo will handle the return leg of the Confederation Cup match between Sports club Victoria University of Uganda and DR Congo’s CS Don Bosco which will be played on Sunday at the Mandela national stadium, Namboole.
