According to the new order, Rwanda dropped to 134 from 130 with 195 points in the world, while the team is ranked at position 39 in Africa.
Meanwhile, Uganda Cranes, despite a dismal performance in the Chan 2014 finals in South Africa, still remains the top team in the region at 84 in world ranking and18th on the continent.
Ethiopia dropped six places to 101th in the world and 28th in Africa, while Kenya moved one slot to 108th in the world and 31st in Africa.
Tanzania, Sudan and Burundi, ranked at 116th, 123rd and 124th respectively all come ahead of Rwanda in world ranking.
In Africa, Yaya Toure’s Côte d’ Ivoire remains the top footballing nation followed by Algeria, Cape Verde Islands, Ghana and Egypt in that order.
Spain, Germany and Argentina retained first, second and third places respectively, while Switzerland (6th, up 2) leapfrogged Uruguay (7th, down 1) and Italy (8th, down 1).
