SECOND-PLACED Isonga Football Club walloped Group A bottom side Akagera 9-0 in a second division league match played at Ferwafa grounds on Sunday.

Evode Ntwali netted a hat trick; Bertrand Iradukunda scored twice, while Saleh Ndayisenga, Yamini Salumu, Abdul Sibomana and Shadad Nsengayire scored one goal each.

In other matches, Etoile de l’Est drew 2-2 with Pépinière FC, Interforce thrashed UNR FC 3-0, and group leaders Sunrise FC beat Kirehe FC 3-1.

Isonga’s win keeps them in second position with 20 points, nine points behind Sunrise after 11 rounds of matches played so far.
