According to Rwanda Football Federation, Ferwafa, the Burundian cup winners arrive in Kigali by road. The second leg will be played in Bujumbura a fortnight later.
AS Kigali, last year’s Peace Cup winners, have meanwhile moved to Kabgayi, Southern Province to for final preparations ahead of the game.
And physicians for Andre Gasambungo’s side are working round the clock to increase chances of the any of the team’s injured star players to feature in Saturday’s all-important tie.
Midfielder Muhamed Mushimiyimana, striker Bodo Ndikumana and winger Hamidou Ndayisaba are all doubtful for the match but sources said yesterday that each had an outside chance to play a part in the first leg.
AS Kigali are participating in the African Confederation Cup for the second time having made their debut in 2001 as Les Citadins.
If the City of Kigali-sponsored side progresses past the preliminary qualifying round, they will face Alhly Shandy of Sudan in the next stage.
