Christopher to launch first album

R&B singer Christopher Muneza will launch his first album titled, Habona on February 15 at Kigali Serena Hotel.   The singer says the launch will give people a taste of his latest compositions. The 10- track album includes songs like Ndabyemeye, Uwo Munsi, Uwo ninde, Ndabyemeye and Birahagije among others. The album also has Ntayindi Mana, a gospel track.

R&B singer Christopher Muneza will launch his first album titled, Habona on February 15 at Kigali Serena Hotel.  

The singer says the launch will give people a taste of his latest compositions. The 10- track album includes songs like Ndabyemeye, Uwo Munsi, Uwo ninde, Ndabyemeye and Birahagije among others. The album also has Ntayindi Mana, a gospel track.

"I am very happy that for the first time in my life I will be launching my own album. I know most people did not expect this development soon, but it’s a move meant to spread my wings in the music industry,” Christopher said.

The 19-year-old artiste who has to juggle books and music says he will continue with music even when he joins university.

The Habona album was produced by KINA Music, where the singer is signed.

The much anticipated album has generated a lot of excitement among his fans. Everyone who has listened to some of the songs from his new album is looking forward to the launch. 

Twenty five-year-old Michel Gatera, a fan of Christopher says Iri Joro is one of his favourite songs on the singer’s album. 

"He is talented and disciplined. I am very impressed and love his music,” said Gatera.

Christopher will be joined by Knowless, Tom Close and Dream Boys among other musicians. 

The launch will start at 6pm and entrance fee is Rwf5000 and Rwf10,000 in the ordinary and VIP section respectively.
