Renowned Rwandan DJs Higa and Rusam, who are among the most trending DJs in town, are expected to headline the second edition of Amavibes Experience scheduled for Friday, September 1 at SunSet, Kigali.
The event's line-up will also feature Rwanda's up and coming DJs including Joel the Drummer, DJ Clara, DJ Grvndlvng, DR Nganji and Emcee Boris among others.
Speaking to The New Times about the show, Gidz Ntsinzi, a member Intambwe Creative Space, the brains behind the event, said that this time around, the Amavibez experience is coming back in style with a lot of additions including various games that will help revelers connect.
Ntsinzi further noted that the event aims to develop Rwanda's creative industry by taking a giant step in giving a platform to both emerging and established talents.
"This is the second time we are doing this kind of event and we want to make it a big thing this time by giving it a theme that will attract all kinds of people. We will have all kinds of music and DJs playing different music at the event," said Ntsinzi.
For Sharon Higa, a member of the famous DJ duo Higa & Rusam, who is expected to headline the show, the upcoming Amavibes Experience show will be a landmark event in Kigali that will cater for everyone.
"We have a one-hour DJ set and it will include many things like dances, games and more that will help us connect with our fans," says DJ Higa, adding that she will play all genres of music from Amapiano to RNB, Hip Hop and more.
Admission to Amavibes Experience, which will take place at SunSet this Friday, is Rwf5, 000 for general tickets and Rwf15, 000 for VIP tickets.
