THE CHANCELLERY FOR HE-ROES NATIONAL ORDERS AND DECORATIONS OF HONOUR (CHENO) is an Agency under The Ministry of Sports and Culture with the main Mission of promoting the culture of heroism, bravery and patriotism as important values of Rwandan culture.

The Chancellery for Heroes National Orders and Decorations of Honor puts in place a system to identify, thank, honor and celebrate the memory of Rwandan citizens or foreigners who distinguished themselves by acts of heroism and other acts of bravery serving as good examples.
