RAYON SPORTS interim coach Mbusa Kombi Billy has received timely boost following the return of his key trio ahead of the Sunday league clash with rivals Kiyovu SC. The three players have been nursing injuries.

Goalkeeper Jean Luc Ndayishimiye and defenders Karim Nizigiyimana and Abouba Sibomana missed last weekend’s 2-1 win over Gicumbi due to injury.

"This is a special boost as we prepare for a tough match against Kiyovu. The mood in the camp is positive and everyone is focused on Sunday’s game,” Kombi told Times Sport on Thursday.

Gilbert Yaoundé Kanyankole’s Kiyovu are fresh from notching up their biggest win of the season, after thrashing Musanze 6-0 to stay sixth on the table with 25 points, six points behind Rayon Sports in second place.

And while Kombi has been boosted by the return of three key players, Kanyankore will welcome back impressive striker Ali Mousa Tsova, who has been out with an ankle injury.
